TROUT CREEKIN’
Trout Creekin’ is about connecting with a unique landscape, slowing down, and learning the cadence of fishing small streams. Here, we’re not grinding for a trophy, but instead tuning in to the finer things. It’s trout fishing the way it was foretold.
From early April through June, our rivers come alive with incredible dry-fly opportunities, featuring hatches like the American Grannom, Hendrickson, March Brown, Sulphur, Brown Drake, and the Hex Hatch. If you’ve been thinking about booking a trip, this is the time to do it—it’s when the magic happens and it doesn’t last long. Outside of hatches, we utilize searching methods and techniques that provide great opportunities to expand your skills as an angler. Typical approaches during this trip include fishing with dry flies and nymphs while utilizing a variety of different techniques. Looking to learn a new approach, or round off your fundamentals? We got you covered.
Our guided trips for trout are primarily held in our home waters—the Central Sands. We also guide in other parts of Wisconsin, depending on conditions and what you’re looking to do. Trout Creekin’ trips are perfect for anglers of all abilities; we offer full day and half day walk n’ wade options for 1-2 anglers.
