This pattern is my attempt to solve the issues I’ve run into and brings together the best traits of spinner patterns that I’ve fished over the years.
Key features:
Less hackle and is designed to drift flat in the meniscus.
The wings lay flat and are reinforced to prevent the wings from bowing back.
Made from synthetic materials, ensuring that the fly floats like a cork and eliminating the need for multiple applications of floatant.
Has as a tail that will not pull out.
Has UV properties.
Tied on a size #6 wide gap hook that leads to better hook up ratios.
